We are a 501c3 Conservation Club dedicated to Conservation of Nature, Wildlife, and Youth Education.
THE OUTDOORSMEN CLUB WAS FOUNDED IN 1952 AND HAS BEEN A STAND ALONE ORGANIZATION WITHOUT TIES TO ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION NATIONAL OR LOCAL SINCE INCEPTION. ALL FUNDS RAISED BY THE CLUB, OTHER THAN COSTS OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE AND TAXES, ARE USED TO SUPPORT YOUTH, CONSERVATION, AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS. THE CLUB DOES NOT HAVE ANY EMPLOYEES; ALL WORK IS VOLUNTARY BY THE CLUB MEMBERS WHICH NUMBER LESS THAN ONE HUNDRED NORMALLY.
YOUTH PROGRAMS SUPPORTED BY THE CLUB INCLUDE AN ANNUAL TROUT DERBY, WHICH IS OUR FLAGSHIP YOUTH PROGRAM, AS WELL AS MANAGED DEER AND TURKEY HUNTS. THE CLUB ALSO FUNDS COMMUNITY LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAMS AS WELL AS HUNTER EDUCATION PROGRAMS .
WILDLIFE AND CONSERVATION PROGRAMS CENTER AROUND MANAGEMENT OF APPROXIMATELY 800 ACRES OWNED BY THE CLUB IN THE BAYS MOUNTAIN AREA OF HAWKINS COUNTY.
WILDLIFE FOOD PLOTS AND SUPPLEMENTAL FEEDING OF WILDLIFE IS ONGOING ALONG WITH ACCESS ROAD MAINTENANCE .
A MAJOR PROGRAM RECENTLY UNDER WAY IS THE REINTRODUCTION OF THE AMERICAN CHESTNUT TREE TO THE BAYS MOUNTAIN RANGE IN A JOINT VENTURE WITH THE AMERICAN CHESTNUT FOUNDATION.
THE OUTDOORSMEN CLUBHOUSE IS LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 11-W APPROXIMATELY 7 MILES WEST OF BASS PRO GOING TOWARD KINGSPORT
AT MILE MARKER 13.
THE CLUBHOUSE HAS A MAIN HALL 40 FT x 80 FT WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS TO SEAT UP TO 250 PEOPLE WITH A FULL COMMERCIAL KITCHEN AND A LARGE PAVED PARKING LOT.
THE CLUBHOUSE IS ON A 7 ACRE SITE WITH A SHADED CREEKSIDE PICNIC AREA. OUR FACILITY IS IDEAL FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, LARGE SCALE BUSINESS MEETINGS AND WEDDINGS. CONTACT OUR RENTAL COORDINATOR FOR QUESTIONS AND PRICING

The Outdoorsmen Inc. is proud to be offer scholarship opprotunities to all quailfiying applicants. Please download the file below and return to the address listed. Each scholarship will be in the amount of $500.00 Dollars. The number of scholarships available will be determined by number of qualifying applications . The application period is from January 1st through April 15th.
